Child Abuse

Physical Abuse:it is non accidental physical injury to the child
Neglect:it is the failure of a parent or a guardian who has the responsibility to take care of the child
Sexual Abuse/Exploitation:it means to human trafficking, like sex trafficking or trafficking of children for sexual purposes, and exploitation means allowing the child to engage to prostitution or in the production of child pornography
Emotional Abuse:using language that causes anxiety, depression, withdrawal, or aggressive behavior
Parental Substance Abuse:letting child use drugs or a substance that is dangerous for them 
Abandonment:meaning that the child is left and not knowing who the parent is and the child is very harmed

Standards for Reporting:it is a report of the circumstances and what happened

Persons Responsible for the Child:they are persons that have some relationship or regular responsibility for the child

Exceptions:its exempt of certain acts or omissions from their statutory definitions of child abuse and neglect

What does the Texas Law say about
Physical Abuse:that it means in the results in substantial harm to the child
Neglect:meaning that they put the child into risk, or not even trying to take them out of the risk that they are in, and failing to be responsible with the child
Sexual Abuse:its a sexual conduct harmful to the child's mental, emotional, or physical welfare, a failure to make a reasonable effort to prevent sexual conduct harmful to the child, or a causing permitting the child to the photographing, filming or depicting of the child
Emotional:a mental or emotional injury to a child that is observable, or letting the child be in a mental or emotional injury
Parental Substance:doesn't say
Abandonment:the leaving of a child who is injured physically, without arranging for necessay care for the child
